This Chicago Blitz t-shirt shows the logo for the United States Football League team. The USFL was a pro football league that began in 1983 and lasted for three seasons. The league was created with the idea that there was a market for professional football in the summer months. The Blitz were coached by the only two USFL coaches who are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame: George Allen and Marv Levy. Their team swapped franchises with the Arizona Wranglers when the owners made a deal to trade over a hundred players.
